Rachel is a Brooklyn native and proud Haitian-American. She has been married to the love of her life since 2011, and they share two beautiful children. She is an Alum of New York University where she pursued a BA degree in Metropolitan Studies and Public Administration (1998-2002). Rachel is a woman in tech with over 17 years of experience in the SaaS industry. Her career in tech and her creative gift has also allowed her to serve as a consultant to ministries, non-profits, and small business owners. As a consultant, she has been blessed to be able to help these organizations establish a solid online presence through web design and social media management. Rachel also owns Xarama Scents - a fragrance company that she launched at the beginning of 2021. Despite all of these accomplishments, the one thing she holds most dear is God's call on her life.

From a very young age, Rachel decided to answer God’s call to ministry delivering her first sermon at age 16. The sermon was entitled “1-800-Saviour”. Her love for serving in ministry continued to take root at her childhood church - where she served as the Assistant Youth Director, Young Adult Sabbath School Superintendent, and Singles Ministry Director. She went on to serve her community at the district level as the Vice-President of the Haitian Youth Federation.

In 2011, after much prayer and direction from God, Rachel joined the Miller Evangelical Christian Union Church. At Miller, Rachel became involved in various aspects of service. She served as the Director of Communications from 2012 - 2017. She currently serves as a Staff Minister and Sunday School Superintendent.

Outside of her service to her local church, Rachel is the host of the Podcast - Faith Talks with Bonjour Rachel. She is also currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Urban Ministry as she continues to trust God with her life and what He has next. Her one goal is to continue to allow Him to use her as a vessel to make the Word of God relevant and relatable in today's society.
